My ECB experience

The task of being and ECB (Early Childhood Buddy) is a good one. The fun of playing with the preschoolers combined with the responsibility of being a leader. I have a buddy called Vilivea (pronounced Villy) and have been his buddy for a while now. The main task is to prepare them for school at St. Josephs. The buddy is helped by the student until they are year 1 (the year ABOVE new entrance) and the student is year 8. The students bond with the people in kindy and help and teach the new entrant. Being an ECB is a fun and rewarding task. Ask your principal if they can start an ECB program today!

    I am glad that you find the programme very worthwhile Joe. I know that the 4 year olds love it too. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and promoting the idea to other schools.
